Professional FDM printing in PLA and PETG. From 1 day, delivery across Ukraine.

Prototype 3D printing — from idea to finished part in days

Today, time to market decides whether a product succeeds. 3D printing prototypes cuts the development cycle from months to days, saving time and budget at every stage of creating a new product. Instead of waiting weeks for tooling and moulds, you get a physical model just 1–3 days after the design is approved.

Our prototype 3D printing service in Ukraine works with startups, engineering teams, designers and manufacturers all over the country. We take orders online and ship finished prototypes by Nova Poshta, so you can quickly validate a concept, test ergonomics or present the product to investors wherever you are. We understand that at the prototyping stage every iteration needs to be as fast and affordable as possible.

Need more than a prototype? If you also need electronics enclosures, spare parts and components or general custom 3D printing, we’ll help you choose the right material and production format.

Why 3D printing is great for prototyping

Compared with traditional manufacturing methods — milling, injection moulding or vacuum forming — 3D printing prototypes has a number of significant advantages:

  • Speed — it takes anywhere from a few hours to 2–3 days to go from a 3D model to a finished prototype, depending on the complexity and size of the part. No other technology is this responsive.
  • Low cost — with no tooling or moulds to pay for, 3D printing is the most economical option for one-off items and small batches. The first prototype can cost 10–50 times less than with traditional technologies.
  • Design freedom — 3D printing lets you create geometry of any complexity, including internal channels, thin walls, complex textures and organic shapes that can’t be made by other methods.
  • Easy iterations — found a flaw in the prototype? Change the 3D model and order a new version the very next day. No extra costs for retooling.

The product development cycle with 3D printing

Effective prototyping is an iterative process, and 3D printing fits every stage of it. At the start we print concept models in PLA — the fastest and cheapest way to check the overall proportions, ergonomics and look of a product. These prototypes are perfect for investor presentations and focus groups.

At the functional testing stage we move to PETG or other engineering plastics that let you check mechanical properties, fit with other parts and how moving elements work. Each new iteration takes into account the results of the previous tests, bringing the prototype closer to the final product.

The final pre-production prototype is as close as possible to the production part in look and function. It can be used for certification testing, marketing photo shoots and as a reference sample for setting up mass production.

Materials for prototyping

The choice of material depends on what the prototype is for and the stage of development:

  • PLA — ideal for concept and visual prototypes. The best surface quality, a wide range of colours and the lowest print cost.
  • PETG — for functional prototypes that need mechanical strength and heat resistance. It takes loads, isn’t brittle and resists UV.
  • TPU — on request: a flexible material for prototypes of seals, protective bumpers and other elastic parts.

Industries we work with

Prototype 3D printing is in demand across many industries: consumer electronics and gadgets, automotive, medical equipment, industrial automation, home and sports goods. We have experience with projects of varying complexity — from simple enclosures to multi-part assemblies with moving parts.

Send us your 3D model or technical brief, and we’ll suggest the best way to print your prototype based on your quality, timing and budget requirements.

Two materials for any job

PLA

from 5 UAH/g

Precise and smooth — for decor, figurines, prototypes and models.

  • Accuracy down to 100 µm
  • Smooth surface, easy to paint
  • Wide choice of colours

PETG

from 6 UAH/g

Strong and durable — for functional parts and enclosures.

  • High strength, impact resistant
  • Moisture resistant
  • Holds its shape up to 80 °C

TPU — on request

A flexible plastic for gaskets, dampers and cases. Describe the job and we’ll tell you whether it fits.

Any colour: if we don’t have the filament in stock, we’ll buy it for your order.

FAQ

How many days does a prototype take?

Usually 1–3 days after the model is agreed. A simple single item is often ready from 1 day.

What should I print a prototype in?

A visual or concept prototype — in PLA: it’s the cheapest and has the best surface. A functional prototype that has to work under load — in PETG.

Which files do you need for printing?

Send a 3D model in STL, OBJ, STEP or 3MF format. No file? We’ll tell you where to find a ready-made model (on Printables, Thingiverse or MakerWorld) or who can make one.

How much does printing cost?

The price depends on the material, size and complexity of the model. Typical prices: PLA from 5 UAH/g, PETG from 6 UAH/g, TPU on request. The minimum order is 250 UAH. Quotes are free.

What print accuracy do you offer?

We print with layers from 0.1 mm on a Bambu Lab A1 printer with dimensional accuracy to ±0.2 mm. Layer height ranges from 0.1 to 0.3 mm depending on the surface requirements.

Can I order a batch of parts?

Yes, we print both single items and small batches. Identical parts are printed together, so the per-piece price in a batch is lower.

How does delivery work?

By Nova Poshta anywhere in Ukraine, usually in 1–2 days. We ship on the day printing is finished or the next working day and send you the tracking number.
