Enclosure 3D printing

Professional FDM printing in PLA and PETG. From 1 day, delivery across Ukraine.

Professional custom 3D printing of electronics enclosures

Modern electronics need reliable protection, which is why 3D-printed enclosures have become an essential part of developing any electronic device. Whether you’re working on a home Arduino project, developing a commercial IoT device or building a prototype of a new gadget, a good enclosure defines not only how your product looks but also how well it works and how long it lasts.

Our enclosure 3D printing service in Ukraine helps engineers, developers and electronics enthusiasts get the perfect enclosure for any project, with delivery across the country. We take orders online and ship finished parts by Nova Poshta. We print from your ready-made model. From one-off prototypes to small batches, we deliver consistent quality on every part.

Which enclosures we print

These are the enclosure types we’re asked for most often:

  • Enclosures for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32 — protective boxes with openings for ports, ventilation and mounts. Ideal for home automation projects, weather stations and smart home servers.
  • Enclosures for IoT sensors and devices — compact, sealed housings for temperature, humidity, motion and other IoT sensors. They can include DIN-rail mounts or magnetic holders.
  • Protective cases for electronics — tough enclosures in impact-resistant materials that protect sensitive components from mechanical damage, dust and moisture.
  • Enclosures for LED controllers — purpose-built boxes for LED strip controllers, with openings for control buttons, displays and power connectors.
  • Custom enclosures from your model — for non-standard boards and components: we’ll print any shape and configuration from your file.

Which material to choose for an enclosure

The choice of material is a key decision that affects the strength, heat resistance and look of the finished enclosure. For enclosures we most often use two materials:

PETG is the best choice for functional enclosures used in real-world conditions. It has high impact toughness, withstands temperatures up to 80°C and has good chemical resistance. Unlike some other plastics, PETG doesn’t crack over time, which makes it ideal for enclosures that need to last for years. We recommend PETG for IoT device enclosures, power supply units and any electronics that run warm.

PLA is a great option for prototypes, display samples and decorative enclosures. PLA gives the best surface quality and detail, and it’s easy to finish and paint. It’s ideal when you need to quickly check ergonomics and component layout before ordering the final version in PETG.

Accuracy and print quality of enclosures

For electronics enclosures, dimensional accuracy is critical. Our Bambu Lab A1 printer holds accuracy to ±0.2 mm, so all openings for connectors, buttons and mounts end up in the right place. We print with layer heights from 0.12 mm for detailed enclosures and 0.2 mm for quick prototypes.

We pay special attention to features such as holes for self-tapping screws, snap-fit joints for screwless assembly, board guides and internal standoffs. Each of these needs a precisely calibrated printer and the right print settings — we tune them for every model.

Two materials for any job

PLA

from 5 UAH/g

Precise and smooth — for decor, figurines, prototypes and models.

  • Accuracy down to 100 µm
  • Smooth surface, easy to paint
  • Wide choice of colours

PETG

from 6 UAH/g

Strong and durable — for functional parts and enclosures.

  • High strength, impact resistant
  • Moisture resistant
  • Holds its shape up to 80 °C

TPU — on request

A flexible plastic for gaskets, dampers and cases. Describe the job and we’ll tell you whether it fits.

Any colour: if we don’t have the filament in stock, we’ll buy it for your order.

FAQ

Which material is better for an electronics enclosure?

For working enclosures — PETG: it handles impacts and heat up to 80 °C. PLA is for prototypes and display samples: the best surface quality, easy to paint.

Will the connector openings line up?

The Bambu Lab A1 printer holds accuracy to ±0.2 mm, so openings for connectors, buttons and mounts fit where they should. For detailed enclosures we print with layers from 0.12 mm.

Which files do you need for printing?

Send a 3D model in STL, OBJ, STEP or 3MF format. No file? We’ll tell you where to find a ready-made model (on Printables, Thingiverse or MakerWorld) or who can make one.

How much does printing cost?

The price depends on the material, size and complexity of the model. Typical prices: PLA from 5 UAH/g, PETG from 6 UAH/g, TPU on request. The minimum order is 250 UAH. Quotes are free.

What print accuracy do you offer?

We print with layers from 0.1 mm on a Bambu Lab A1 printer with dimensional accuracy to ±0.2 mm. Layer height ranges from 0.1 to 0.3 mm depending on the surface requirements.

Can I order a batch of parts?

Yes, we print both single items and small batches. Identical parts are printed together, so the per-piece price in a batch is lower.

How does delivery work?

By Nova Poshta anywhere in Ukraine, usually in 1–2 days. We ship on the day printing is finished or the next working day and send you the tracking number.
